What information is on a CitizenCard?

CitizenCards are designed to provide comprehensive identification, showcasing essential details such as your full name, date of birth, the card's expiry date, and a unique 16-digit CitizenCard number. Additionally, the reverse side features the issue date of the card.

As part of our commitment to inclusivity and respecting individual identities, CitizenCards intentionally omit applicant titles and gender markers. This deliberate choice ensures that individuals, regardless of how they identify, have a reliable means to verify their age and identity without the need to disclose gender information.

This approach acknowledges the challenges associated with changing gender due to legal restrictions and medical prerequisites, thus advocating for accessibility and preserving the dignity of every applicant.

TRUSTED ID SINCE 1999

The PASS hologram on each CitizenCard is endorsed by the Home Office, Police, SIA and retailers.
