Can I use a pre-existing photo of my photo ID for the 'Electronic ID Validation' route?

When submitting your photo ID for verification, please note that pre-saved photos or scans of your document are not acceptable. We require a live photo taken of the document at the time of the application to ensure authenticity and accuracy. Therefore, saved photos, document copies, or scanned images cannot be used for the 'Electronic ID Validation' process.

Additionally, it's important to emphasize that taking a picture of an existing photo or capturing an image from a screen (screenshot) is also not permitted.

You must have the original, physical document available during the application process.

By following these guidelines and providing a live photo of your document, you help reduce the possibility of delays to your application.
