Can I apply for my whole family?

No, you cannot apply for your whole family as every application for a CitizenCard must be made separately for each person. If applying online each person must have their own email address to register an account. Your online account will only be able to be used for your applications.

For paper or printed applications completed, countersigned forms and photos (and if relevant copies of countersigned official documents confirming identities) for more than one applicant can be posted to us in a single envelope. We recommend sending all documents by a postal method which you can track.

To save time, we recommend that if more than one member of the same family is applying, they should use a single referee who can vouch for all the applicants, such as a GP surgery administrator.


The PASS hologram on each CitizenCard is endorsed by the Home Office, Police, SIA and retailers.
